Man Returns Home to Burglars Ransacking His Home; Shoots and Kills One
Around 11 am on February 8, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ, a homeowner returned to his house and found three-four men inside burglarizing it. Not knowing if they were armed and fearing for his safety, the homeowner drew his gun and fired a single shot, striking one of the robbers and causing the others to immediately flee.
The wounded robber was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Police are still looking for the other two, possibly three robbers.
No one else was injured in the incident and the police believe the homeowner was acting in self-defense and no charges have been filed.
